TV commands are printed in a boldfaced sans serife font and formatted in the following manner:
menu command argument1 [argument2] argument3 ...
menu command {argument4 argument5}
menu is the prompt indicating that TV is accepting input
in the current menu. The command can be entered complete or
in short form as explained later (see section 3.7
p. ). Arguments enclosed in brackets [ ] are
optional. Three dots after the argument name indicate that a list of
arguments of this type may follow. From arguments enclosed in braces
{ } exactly one must be used. The vertical line (`') in the
example above means that you can specify argument4 or argument5
(exclusive `or').
